Morton Coleman is Director Emeritus of the Institute of Politics of the University of Pittsburgh and Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work with a joint appointment with the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs and Urban Studies. Dr. Coleman's previous positions have included dean of the School of Social Work at University of Connecticut, personal advisor to Henry Ford II on urban issues, secretary to the mayor of the City of Pittsburgh, and senior social planner for the Community Renewal Program in the Pittsburgh Department of City Planning. Dr. Coleman received his Masters in Social Work and Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
