Have you heard the news? cityLAB and the 6% Place Advisory Committee are organizing a night market in Garfield to begin this summer and we are looking for vendors, volunteers, performers, and sponsors.
Read the article from the April issue of the Bloomfield-Garfield Bulletin below and then sign up here if you’re interested in being a part of the Night Market.

Are you allowed to sell homemade food at the Night Market even if you don’t have a vendor license?

Hello Dori! All of the vendors at the Night Market will be required to be in compliance with the Allegheny County Health Department’s rules, which require a commercial kitchen for pretty much any food product besides cookies. I believe that vendor registration from the City of Pittsburgh is only required if vendors make more than $12,000, but that registration is again the responsibility of the individual vendor. More about the City’s vendor requirements at http://www.city.pittsburgh.pa.us/BBI/html/vendors.html. Thanks for filling out our form — we will be in touch!
Best, Sara
