cityLAB took a look at the household types that live in our target area. Some interesting statistics emerged. Perhaps the most interesting is the very high percentage of households to the north of Penn Avenue led by females. This demographic will shift as the public housing area is replaced by other housing. Still, the percentage of female heads of household to the north of Penn Avenue is substantially higher than to the south.
